Stormwater Pollution Remains One Of The Environments Most Silent Enemies

One of the most ignored dangers to our environment, stormwater pollution has proven to cause a large amount of damage to nature and those that rely on it, including humans. Many communities do not realize the large amount of damage that stormwater runoff can create, but their ability to easily pick up pollution and trash off the streets and carry them into waterways and natural water channels is something that should be carefully watched and prevented. Several methods are working to reduce the effects of stormwater pollution, including filters and treatments. With many communities beginning to understand the amount of damage that stormwater pollution causes, residents and leaders alike are more willing to do what is needed to ensure the earth is kept healthy for future generations. To protect the relatively small amount of freshwater that is still available, doing everything possible to stop stormwater pollution is a must.
